The Typhoon is based on classic VOX AC30 top boost of the 60s and produces chimey clean tones and incredible natural overdrive when cranked. It is a single channel 18W combo amplifier and comes with volume, bass, treble, cut and master controls.
The Typhoon produces 18 watts of output from 2 EL84s and is matched with a Celestion G12H 30 12" speaker to produce classic sparkling cleans and harmonically saturated crunch.
Notable VOX players include The Beatles, Oasis, Paul Weller, Hank Marvin, Brian May (Queen),Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters etc.
The Typhoon is available in a number of finishes as well as speaker combinations.
