The Tempest is based on classic VOX design of the 60s and produces chimey clean tones and incredible natural overdrive when cranked. It is a single channel 18W combo amplifier and comes with volume, tone, cut and master controls.
The Tempest produces 18 watts of output from 2 EL84s and is matched with a Celestion V-Type 12" speaker to produce classic sparkling cleans and harmonically saturated crunch. A master volume allows you to achieve these great tones at bedroom levels.
Notable VOX players include The Beatles, Oasis, Paul Weller, Hank Marvin, Brian May (Queen),Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters etc.
