The Explorer is a compact hand built valve amplifier based on the Vibro Champ AA764 circuit introduced by Fender in 1964. It differs in that it has a single tone control instead of bass and treble and as a result benefits from the increase in gain. Controls include volume, tone as well as speed and intensity for the built-in tremolo.
The Explorer produces 5 watts of output from the single 6V6 and is matched with the legendary Jensen Alnico P8R speaker to produce sparkling clean tones and great crunch making it a perfrect amp for studio, practice or mic'd for gigs.
The Explorer is available in a number of finishes as well as speaker combinations.
